Goodbye Mrs Ruddick!

We were very sad on Friday of last week to say goodbye to Mrs Ruddick, who has been helping us in school for 17 years.

We hope she will feel much better now that she doesn't have to run after children (and teachers!!!) and that she will come back to visit us soon.

We will all miss you Mrs Ruddick!

First Assembly of Primary 4

We had our first Assembly two weeks ago (sorry for the delay in getting some pictures up!), where we were thinking about heroes and what it is that makes someone a hero.  When we think of heroes we often think of people having qualities such as being strong, brave, famous or rich - however this is not what we believe makes someone a hero (we also don't believe you need to wear your pants over your trousers!).

We think that EVERYONE can be a hero if they want to be.  We can all be heroes by doing small things for the people around us.  Here are some ideas for how we can all become heroes:

sharing with others
helping others
being kind
standing up for something we think is important
trying to make the world a better place

If you have any other ideas or suggestions, please send us a comment and we will share your ideas too.

Apologies ...

Hello again!  This is a quick note to let you know that I will be sorting the blog page ASAP - I have been trying tonight but for some reason the webpage is not working so I don't know if what I am doing will appear for you to see or not.  If you can see what I have added please leave a comment so I know it is working (even if it tells me it is not!).

I will try to get this sorted over the weekend so you can start following what we are up to in class!

From Ms Rendall
